Sun Guru is an independent professional body and training provider that has been delivering courses since 2016. It collaborates with prominent regional Vocational Institutes. Every year, Sun Guru educates over 50 people in 135 districts around Uganda on the latest in renewable energy and energy efficiency, with plans to spread to other regional countries like Rwanda and Burundi, as well as the rest of East Africa. Trainers and instructors for all Sun Guru courses are TVET academics and industry specialists with many years of expertise in their field. The approved courses are delivered in a classroom setting, online in virtual classrooms, or on-demand via an innovative learning platform.
